How we work
A Baptist association
We are an autonomous body of churches in the process of affiliating with the State Convention of Baptists in Indiana (SCBI) and, through SCBI, cooperating with the Southern Baptist Convention. Each member church remains fully autonomous while choosing to cooperate in missions and ministry.
SBC→SCBI→HBAI
Voluntary cooperation. Local church autonomy is preserved at every level.
